It’s the second day of the new year, and an exciting one at that!

Mom, Chloe, and I spent the day together roaming around the Flea Market and Petco, hanging out and making memories. I even took Chloe to the dog park. She had a blast hanging out with the other dogs. I’ve started giving Chloe human food mixed with her dog food because she needs to gain some weight. Plus, it makes it easier to slip some medicine in there. 🙂

The new year is starting off well, and I am very happy about that. I am enjoying the people in my life, the events that are coming up, the experiences I’m having, and the memories to tie it all together. This year is a year of making and remembering the memories we create daily.

Let’s go make some memories!!!

Good Morning 2011!

I am so excited and anticipatory of what this new year will bring forth for not only me, but for my family and friends! I am so thankful to slam the door on 2010. As the song says, I’m Never Going Back To The Way It Was!

This year should be full of new and exciting things. I am speaking a career job, a degree, a new car, a new house, financial breakthrough, blessings upon my household. I am speaking it, and it shall come to pass!

I have learned so much over this last year, and I’m thankful to have the opportunity to put it in to action. I have experienced a lot, probably more than I would have hoped for, but if anything, it has strengthened me, encouraged me, and pulled me closer to family and God.

I begin my new year by seeing the woman I love the most (my mom), my new puppy (Chloe), my kitty cat (CeCe), and by working at Kohl’s, a job I am thankful to have. It should be a fun day today, and I only hope that everyone else embraces the new year with an open heart, open mind, and open arms.

This year, I won’t take anything for granted. I’m going to experience new things. I’m going to learn from my mistakes and hopefully not repeat them. I’m going to heal and recover from the pain I’ve suppressed for so long. I’m going to seek God on a deeper level this year, asking for growth, discernment, and guidance as I continue to move forward with my life. This year I’ll turn 21, and although it’s the year for partying and living it up, I pray I keep focused on my goals and not let the world capture me in its deathly grasp. I intend on writing some more music and poetry, hoping to record some of it this year as well.

The sky is the limit, and I’m going to float on the clouds the whole way through!
